Bio: Hi! I’ve been jumping for 6 years, when I started jumping it was more out of fun and I quickly fell in love with the sport. I started competing when I was 10 and my highest achievements are a 1st place at NDDL camp and a second place at Regionals for my pairs routine. I love jumping, its a great way to express yourself and exercise in a fun cooperative competitive environment. I’ve met so many people and made tons of new friendships through this sport and I want to keep jumping for the rest of my life, spreading the Hurricane Jumper legacy.

ST. PETERSBURG – More than 40 youth participated in this past Saturday’s jump rope workshop held at the Thomas “Jet” Jackson Recreation Center. Veteran jump rope coach, Yvonne Moody, and her team the Hurricane Jumpers came from Miami to teach the basics: speed, power and freestyle.
